grandma's bookshelf - Papa's Pastries

I had the opportunity to review a wonderful book for children called, Papa's Pastries, and wanted to let you know about this book with a powerful message for us all!

Papa's Pastries
Written by Charles Toscano
Illustrated by - Sonja Lamut
Publisher - Zonderkidz
Ages - 4-7

Favorite Features -
  • I love the message about using what you have to serve and help others
  • strong message about trusting God and how He provides - often in ways we didn't think of!
  • wonderful illustrations
This is a book which will give you some very important things to talk about with the children in your life! It isn't often you find a book with such an engaging story which challenges us all to remember, "The more you give away, the more you shall receive." I love the value this book places on giving generously to others . . . I have always taught Josiah it is so much fun to share and this book values sharing what we have with others and trusting God to provide! When you read this to your grandchildren, be sure to take time to talk with them about what they have which they could share!  Enjoy!
