grandma's cookbook - Mother's Day Dessert!

What could be more enjoyable than chocolate and peanutbutter? So when you can combine these two things - particularly in a dessert which is simple enough for children to make (with some help) - you end up with the perfect Mother's Day Dessert! I found this recipe on Pinterest and thought I'd share it with you!

Follow the links and involve your grandchildren in crushing the cookies, the mixing, spreading the pb mixture, unwrapping the candies, sprinkling them on top of the pb mixture, mixing the pudding part, spreading the pudding mixture, topping with crushed cookies and of course, the tasting! Your grandchildren will be so delighted to be able to "make" this dessert for their mom . . . and if she enjoys pb and chocolate, she is sure to be delighted, too!

As you make this dessert be sure to talk with your grandchildren about what they can do to serve their mom and show their love to her. Lead them in thanking God for their mom and help them make a Mother's Day card to put with the dessert. Enjoy!
