Ornament Craft . . . What Ornament do You Like to Make?

Cute idea for a nativity ornament. #Christmas #ornamentsThere are only two more days to enter my Christmas ornament contest by sending me your Christmas ornament pattern! If you have a Christmas ornament you like to make, please email the pattern to me at lyndafreemanatcd@gmail.com and then I'll post the patterns so everyone can vote for the ornament they'd most like to make! I'll of course put together a prize package for the winner! If you have an ornament you like to make, please email the pattern to me!

I thought it would be fun to share an ornament pattern I found on Pinterest . . . this is one you could make with your grandchildren - and one which shares the reason for the season! This ornament just needs wood clothes pins, twine, glue, craft wire and a saw - this part would be a fun way to involve grandpa in the project! Check your local craft store for wood stars and you'll have everything you need to make these "nativity" ornaments! Glue the "Mary" and "Joseph" clothespins next to each other, tie some twine around the "baby Jesus" clothespin and glue him to "Mary's" "arms", add the star with a bit of craft wire, make a hanging loop from twine, glue together and voila! You ahve an adorable ornament!

This ornament would be great fun to make as something special to add to a Christmas gift to dress up the outside or give to Sunday School teachers, your pastor, neighbors . . . give them to everyone on your gift list! Who would you give them to if you make these ornaments?
