grandma's Christmas Cookie Recipe Contest - Chocolate Chip Cookies from Rosella!

I'm very happy to share the sixth recipe in my Christmas Cookie Recipe Contest - Chocolate Chip Cookies from Rosella Rowe! Rosella said, "I have so much fun baking with my grandson!" Rosella likes to dip half of the baked cookies into chocolate for extra fun! Thank you Rosella for sharing with us - voting will begin on Friday, November 9, 2012!

Ingredients -
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions -
  • preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • combine four, soda ad salt
  • beat butter, sugars and vanilla until creamy
  • add eggs
  • add flour mixture
  • add chips
  • drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased sheets
  • bake for 9 to 11 minutes
  • cool for two minutes and cool on racks
  • dip half of cookie in melted chocolate
  • enjoy!
