Just Two Days Until I Give-Away, Amelia!

PreSale - Amelia, Your Victorian Girl™
Yes, in two days I'm giving away one Amelia doll from the Girl for All Times collection of dolls! (See my review at this link) Amelia is similar to American Girl Dolls, except she "tells" the story of English history as seen through the
"lives" of the Marchmount girls! If you win this lovely doll, who will you give her to?

You can enter the drawing (if you are older than 18 and live in the USA) by commenting below to let me know if you have followed grandma's cookie jar with Google+, Google Friend Connect, by "liking" on facebook using the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box, ON THE BLOG and/or by following with email. For each of these which you do, you will receive one entry. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry for each time you share (please comment to let me know if you share). Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!

  1. I follow through email and google. Our 9 year old daughter has shown us by caring for her Baby Alive Dolls how responsible she is in caring for them. She has asked for an American Girl Doll since she was 6 when my mother introduced her to the catalog. I know our daughter would absolutely love Amelia to love and care for. She has read several of the books and rereads them often.

A friend of mine told her a story about how she first received her American Girl Doll when she was 16, after 8 years of saving up for it and to this day, her doll, Felicia, still looks like she did the day she was purchased over 15 years ago. It was quite the inspiring story for our daughter to hear.

I shared your link on my Facebook page. Many of my friends have daughters around the same age as mine who all have treasured and loved the American Girl Doll books.
