Toy Review - Transformers Prime - I'm Giving One Away!

I have been given the opportunity to review and give away one Transformers Prime Beast Hunters, but since I have to have the winners info to Hasbro by the 29th, this give-away/drawing will only be in a few days, so please keep watch for the announcement of the winner - which will be on March 22, 2013.

So, as I said, I was given the opportunity to review a Transformers Prime Beast Hunters. Hasbro sent me one Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Class Optimus Prime Figure for review and I am quite sure my grandsons will find this a very interesting and fun toy! Josiah is very much into being a super hero and into robots and cars, so what could be better than a heroic autobot commander?

I like the colors of Optimus Prime - red, white and blue - and how it changes from the Autobot leader into a truck and back to the robot leader! Hasbro says, "Transformers Prime Beast Hungers Voyager Class action figures are the ultimate warriors in the ancient conflict between the Autobot and Decepticon robots! These mighty soldiers from the planet Cybertron have come to Earth to continue their epic battle with Optimus Prime and the heroic Autobots fighting to protect our world from the tyranny of Megatron and his Decepticons. And now the savage Predacons have joined the fray, blasting all before them with an inferno of dragon fire . . . in a battle which will decide the fate of our planet." Sounds like it was designed with the imagination of a five year old in mind!

As grandma, of course I am concerned about violence and do not want to see my sweet grandson affected by violent toys and games. I also understand young boys pretend to be hunters of "monsters" and as Josiah likes to tell me, "robots of doom"!!!  They like to pretend they are the super hero who gets the bad guys! I do like the idea the Autobots are fighting the Decepticons; I think it gives us the opportunity to talk with young grandchildren about how the bad guys are deceivers . . . just as Satan is the father of lies. We are in an "epic" battle and are fighting to try and help as many people as possible escape the deception of Satan and find freedom in Jesus. This is a battle with the old dragon and will truly decide the eternal fate of all on our planet. Isn't it interesting how the actual idea behind the Transformers can give us an opportunity to talk with our grandchildren/children about being truly transformed by Jesus?!!!

As I mentioned, not only did Hasbro send me one Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Class Optimus Prime Figure for review and are making another available for me to give away! (USA only) You can enter this contest by commenting below to let me know if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email.
