Christmas Stocking Kits - I'm Giving Two Away!

Yes, I realize it is April and Winter is finally gone . . . or nearly so if you live in Michigan as I do! But, if you are planning to make a Christmas stocking for a sweet grandchild in your life, then Spring or Summer is a great time to work on the project so it is completed in time for Christmas! It is for this reason I'm reviewing Stocking Kits from Plaid/Bucilla - and am giving two away!

I've made stockings for each of my grandsons; the Candy Express Stocking for Josiah and the Snowman & Friends Stockinfor Caleb, so with another grandbaby boy due to make his arrival in August, it is time for me to get out a new kit, organize all those kazillion sequins . . . okay, there really aren't a kazillion sequins, but it does seem like there are a lot of them! . . . and get to work on making a stocking for my new grandson!

Don't get me wrong, I love all the sequins - they add such a touch of fun and sparkle to a Christmas stocking! And sewing them to stockings is really easy! I love the Plaid/Bucilla kits . . . they have everything I need and complete, easy-to-follow, step-by-step directions! Plus, the finished project is wonderful . . . certainly one which will last for years to come!

I'm making the Candy Snowman Felt Stocking for my new grandson and am happy to be giving away the Snow Fun Stocking and Christmas Morning Stocking in a special drawing during grandma's cookie jar's birthday month! The drawings will be on May 10, 2013 (USA only), so if you'd like to be in the drawings for one of these stockingsplease comment below to let me know if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win a stocking kit and it gives you several ways to enter the give-aways!
