crafting with grandma - Mother's Day Gift - Thumbprint Charm!

As I mentioned yesterday, Mother's Day is not far away, so if you are looking for some gift ideas which you can help your grandchildren make for their mom, check this wonderful idea I found on Pinterest for thumb-print charms!

As you know, if you have been reading grandma's cookie jar for very long, I love hand-print and foot-print crafts! So, when I saw this idea for a cute thumb-print craft, I had to share it with you. Just follow this link and you'll find directions and a photo tutorial . . . it looks pretty simple and basic and one you can help even your youngest grandchildren make for their mom - this is a gift she is sure to treasure!

I wouldn't recommend making something to hang on a rear-view mirror as it could block the driver's view and be dangerous, but as a charm for a necklace or even as a magnet for the refrigerator, this is a wonderful craft idea! Enjoy!

So, if you think this is a craft idea you could do with your grandchildren, what might you help them make?
