crafting with grandma - Patriotic Bi-Plane!

A patriotic can plane? This has to be the coolest craft I've seen yet! Brought to you by Shoplet.com - everything for your business.Over the past couple years I've been writing grandma's cookie jar, I've found a number of fun and unique crafts which I've shared with you. However, the craft I found today when I browsed on Pinterest is most definitely one of my all-time favorites! All you need is a pop can, free printables, a straw and glue or tape and you can help your grandchildren make their own bi-planes! How fun is this?

Just follow this link and you'll find a supplies list, directions and photo tutorial for making these fun bi-planes. I think I'll use colored Duck Tape in place of the paper to cover the can and if you copy the printables and paste them to a word doc file, you can save and then print them to use with your bi-planes! This is a craft which is sure to be fun; one Josiah will be able to make and Caleb will be able to help make, so it is definitely something we will be making when the boys spend a few days with us next week!

What do you think of the bi-plane? Have you ever made it before? Do you think it is something you might make with your grandchildren? Enjoy!
