grandma's chuckles - re-run - Josiah, grandma and the Quaker Oats Man!

The Four Days of Fun are definitely fun . . . today is day three, so I thought I'd take a moment and share my very first "grandma's chuckles" with you . . . enjoy . . .

"grandma's chuckles" are the things which make me chuckle . . . you know, the things your children and grandchildren say and do which bring a smile to your face and make your heart happy! These are the things I don't want to forget, so I'm writing them down and sharing them with you . . . I hope they bring a smile to your face, make your heart happy and cause you to chuckle, too . . . whether you are a grandma or not! :^) Enjoy!

So, for my first "chuckles" . . .
  • Josiah and Poppa were playing on the porch one afternoon when Josiah said, "What's that out there?! What's that out there?!!!" Poppa said, "Do you see something outside?" Josiah said, "There's a huffalump out there!" Apparently someone has been watching Winnie the Pooh!:^)
  • A few months back, Josiah spent the night - the first thing he said when he woke up in the morning was, "I need to fix coffee for grandma!" . . . so he did! What a sugar!:^)
  • Another time when Josiah was over here he saw a box of Quaker oats on my table, pointed at the Quaker oats man and said, "Grandma!" I said, "Hey! Wait a minute you funny boy! That's an old man! That isn't grandma!" He smiled, pointed at the Quaker oats man again and said, "Lynda!" Apparently he has a sense of humor!!!!
From time to time I'll share my "grandma's chuckles" with you . . . please feel free to share your "grandma's chuckles" with me, too!
