grandma's cookbook - Salted Caramel Lollipops

A couple days ago I posted a recipe for making salted caramel lollipops . . . yesterday I made a batch to surprise my sweet grandsons when they came over to spend the night.

The lollipops were a big "hit" . . . just look at these happy lollipop faces!!! :-) Josiah said, "I didn't know you could make lollipops!!!!" He said they were, "delicious"!!!! Kid approved!

The recipe is easy to make, but I did have to make a couple corrections . . . when you add the cream and butter to the sugar mixture, you need to bring it back to 300 degrees, not 260 - it makes a HUGE difference. And, you need to continually stir for this final cook time.

It is still a very easy recipe - I'm going to buy some lollipop molds to make the process easier . . . my grandsons are in favor of the dinosaur molds! Have fun making these . . . once I get the molds I'll make lemon lollipops!
