What a lovely, touching, heart-felt story of adoption and a child who was, born from the heart"! I have not adopted a child, but the emotions of Rose, the mom in the story, are much the same as the emotions I felt when my children and grandchildren were born. I, too, felt, "an extraordinary burst of happiness - a rainbow of colors, laughter and the most wonderful sounds." And I, too, kissed my babies - and grandbabies - "a hundred million times."
While an adoptive mom's tummy doesn't grow and grow through the pregnancy, her heart certainly does and Born From the Heart shows this in a most wonderful and delightful way! The message of an adoptive child being desired, loved and cherished is one they - and every child - needs to hear and this book shares this message in a truly beautiful way!
I am happy to say, not only did Sterling Children's Books send me one copy of to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)! I have the perfect person in mind to gift this to. She has adopted a little baby boy and was even able to re-lactate so she can nurse him!
