Special Christmas Give-Away - Christmas Eve with Mrs. Claus!

Yes, believe it or not, I have another give-away to announce!!! (I have one additional final give-away to announce tomorrow, but with it I'll be giving away something each day through the first of December!!!! I LOVE my Special Month of Holiday Give-Aways!!!) Anyway, back to this give-away! Sterling Children's Books invited me to review a few Christmas books - and made give-aways available, so I'm very happy to share the first one with you: Christmas Eve with Mrs. Claus!

Christmas Eve with Mrs. Claus
Author - M. P. Hueston
Illustrator - Teri Weidner
Publisher - Sterling Children's Books
Ages - 3-7

Favorite Features -

  • Cute story shares how Mrs. Claus keeps busy on Christmas Eve
  • Colorful, fun illustrations - I love the Claus' are polar bears!
  • Extra fun built into the story by having children look under flaps to find the answers in the story - children will LOVE this feature! (so did I!)
This is such a sweet and fun little book; children are going to LOVE Christmas Eve with Mrs. Claus and want to have it read to them over and over again . . . so they can go on a search to find the answers on each page! It would certainly make a fun story to add to your yearly Christmas traditions . . . and think how fun it would be to make your own "scavenger-type hunt" for your grandchildren to take part in! For example, I'm planning to make home-made lollipops at Christmas. It would be great fun to hide the lollipop molds, lollipop sticks, recipe, bowl, etc and have Josiah and Caleb find them so we can make lollipops together! I will definitely have to have a camera ready for such a "hunt"!

Whether you plan a "hunt" of your own or not, Christmas Eve with Mrs. Claus is a book which is filled with fun and I'm very happy Sterling Children's Books is making one available for me to give away (USA only)! If you are 18 and older and would like to be in this drawing which will be on November 13, 2013, all you have to do is at least one of the following: follow on Google+, Google Friend Connect, follow by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share!) This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win Christmas Eve with Mrs. Claus and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away!
