Special Month of Birthday Give-Aways - I'm Giving Away Isabelle, the American Girl Doll Girl of the Year 2014!

Yes, I'm happy to announce, I will be giving away the new American Girl Doll Girl of the
Year 2014; Isabelle! She literally just arrived on my door-step and I have to say I LOVE her glittery gold shoes and the sequins on her shirt! (Apparently little girls and grandmas love sparkles!!!)

At any rate, I'm giving Isabelle away on May 24, 2014 . . . I know this is a ways away, but it is fun to have special give-aways during my grandma's cookie jar's month of special birthday give-aways (the month of May) and what could be more "fun" than giving away an American Girl doll?!!!

So . . . stay tuned for more information about Isabelle over the coming months and feel free to enter the give-away . . . you will receive entries in the following ways . . .
  • First of all, you must be over the age of 18 to enter this give-away and you must live in the USA
  • You will receive one entry each time I post about Isabelle if you comment; for example, you will receive one entry this time if you comment and share what your favorite doll was when you were a child - my favorite doll was a doll called Kissy Baby! (I had the one in the blue dress!)
  • You will also receive one entry each time I post if you share the post - one entry for each share, but you need to comment to let me know if you share so I can be sure you receive all your entries
  • You will also receive a one-time entry for each way you follow grandma's cookie jar - one for following on facebook, one for google+, one for following by email, etc. Please comment to let me know which ways you follow grandma's cookie jar so I can give you your entry for these as well!
Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know! I look forward to letting you know all about Isabelle . . . and to ultimately giving her away!

  3. I loved my Baby Alive, too, until I took her in the bathtub. Little water bugs started pouring out of her mouth! My favorite doll was my Holly Hobby doll. I still have her. She sits on my kitchen cabinet where I can see her.

  10. There were no dolls at my house growing up - just two boys. Now my house is full of my little girl's dolls. She loves them all! I remember my wife saying that my wife's favorite doll as a kid was her Raggedy Ann doll. Thanks for the chance - winning this would make me Dad of the Year in my daughter's eyes!

  11. I had lots of baby dolls growing up and I also had a doll a friend brought me from Germany. As a teacher I always read the Addy books to my students during black history month so my fellow teachers got me the AG Addy doll when I retired. She still sits at her desk in my "teacher room". I follow on fb and email.

  24. My favorite doll when I was young, was a hand me down doll from one of my older sisters. She was well loved, and had no hair because it had all fallen out. I loved her until her body fabric fell apart... I was very sad, so my mom made her a new body!

  26. Now following on FB - shared the contest there and left a comment. My daughter told me she REALLY wanted an American Girl doll this weekend - apparently all the girls in her class have one and she feels left out :( Hoping to win this for her. Her current dolly is falling apart - missing a leg with toes missing on the other foot.....yep, time for a new one :D

I follow on Google+, Facebook, Pinterest, and Email. I have shared this with others on each of those forums. If I don't win, I hope a loved one will- I know quite a few little girls who dream of owning an American Girl doll. :)

Thanks for hosting another fun giveaway!
