Being an Intentional Grandma

I love my grandsons! I love to spend time with them, I love to do special things with them and I love to give them surprises from time to time. I take seriously my "job" as grandma! Along with all the "fun" parts of this "job", I also know it is important; extremely important, for me to also take seriously my responsibility to pass on a heritage of faith. I am always looking for opportunities to connect what we are doing with God's Word and how very, very much Jesus loves these three, sweet boys!

But, I also want to be intentional about passing on a heritage of faith to my grandsons and one way I'm going to do this in the coming year is to sit down with Josiah and Caleb (since Shane is still just a little baby) and together each week we will think of something they can do throughout the week to show they love God! I know when they think about and focus on serving others, they will grow in their walk with God and will experience joy and this is something I want them to learn to do and experience throughout their lives!

So, what do you do to pass on a heritage of faith to your grandchildren?
