Special Birthday Give-Away - Candy Snowman Felt Stocking Kit

I have three grandsons, and for each of their "first" Christmases, I made them their own Christmas stocking with the felt applique kits from Plaid/Bucilla. Each stocking has a snowman on it: Josiah's has a snowman driving a train, Caleb's has a snowman with animal friends and Caleb's has three snowmen sliding down a hill covered in snow!

Plaid/Bucilla sent me those kits for review and I found them to be easy to assemble; it does take some time to do so with all the sequins and seed beads, but the finished result is lovely! They also sent me an additional Snowman Christmas Stocking kit to give away, so since it does take awhile to assemble, I thought it would be fun to include this kit in my Special Month of Birthday give-aways so you will have time to make it for your grandchild/child for Christmas!

The stocking kit I'm giving away (USA only) is the Candy Snowman Felt Stocking! If you are over the age of 18 and would like to be in the drawing for the Bucilla Candy Snowman Stocking Kitwhich will be on May 10, 2014, you may enter by commenting below to share how you celebrate Christmas with stockings . . . when my children were little, we let them stuff each other's stocking on Christmas Eve, then Christmas morning they could see what they had in their own stocking! We always told them Santa was pretend, so stuffing each other's stocking was just a fun thing for them to do!

Additional entries in this give-away are available if you follow on Google+, Google Friend Connect, follow by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share!) This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win the Bucilla Candy Snowman Stocking Kit and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!
