Special Birthday Month Give-Away - Skill Sharpeners Math and Phonics Fun: Grade 1

My grandsons are curious boys who enjoy learning about new things and figuring out how things go together. So, when I saw three new resources from Silver Dolphin I was pretty sure they would be interested in them; and was delighted when Silver Dolphin said they would send them for me to review. When they also said they would make one additional Skill Sharpeners Math and Phonics Fun: Grade 1 available for give-away, I was happy to be able to offer another opportunity to you to win.

Summer-time is the time of year when many of us head out with our family for a visit to our favorite amusement park. When our children were young, we took them either to Cedar Point or Great America north of Chicago. Many fun memories were made at these parks! Most kids - and adults, love the roller-coasters, so a book about the science of roller-coasters has to be one which children will find interesting! Scientriffic: Roller Coaster Science is filled with science and fun - a winning combination!

Silver Dolphin says: "Adventurous young learners will lose their marbles when they spend an afternoon with this fun set, all while learning some fascinating science along the way! Using a ball or marble and a small-scale ramp, children are introduced to amazing principles of physics like gravity, momentum, velocity, acceleration, friction, and centripetal force. A unique kit which introduce budding scientists to the fields of physics and engineering,
Scientriffic: Roller Coaster Science challenges children to think about scientific principles as they ride on real roller coasters."
