grandma's cookbook - Apple Pie Cookies

Fall is just around the corner. Today we drove through the area around where I live and
saw hundreds - possibly even thousands of apple trees filled with apples! This put me in the mood for apple pie. So, when I browsed on Pinterest and saw a recipe for Apple Pie Cookies, I knew I was going to have to make some and share the recipe with you!

Follow this link for the recipe and photo tutorial . . . it looks pretty simple and like a recipe I could have my grandsons help me make! I wonder how it would work with a crumble top???

Hmmm . . . I'm going to have to give it a try for sure! This could be the perfect cookie to make as a thank-you for teachers or just to brighten the day of your neighbors! Have your grandchildren help you make a batch and then package them to give out - they will brighten the day  - and please the tummy - of anyone who receives one!
