2014 Christmas Give-Away - Scrabble Alphabet Scoop!

I love playing Scrabble on-line with my hubby, sister, and mom, so a Scrabble game which young children can enjoy is one which definitely gets my attention!

Scrabble Alphabet Scoop
Manufacturer - Hasbro
Ages - 6+
For 2-4 players

Favorite Features -
  • A fun "twist" on the classic Scrabble
  • Great game for children and families to enjoy together
  • Encourages spelling and vocabulary . . . and fun!
Hasbro says,"A fun, exciting way for kids six and up to practice word-building, SCRABBLE ALPHABET SCOOP offers a whole new way to play a classic game. This fast-paced game challenges you to scoop up letters from the big red pot until you form one of the five words on your card. The player who's first to scoop up enough letters to make the word wins. Designed for two to four players, SCRABBLE ALPHABET SCOOP comes with a plastic pot and lid, 4 plastic scoops, 72 word cards, and 104 letter tiles."

I think this is a great way to help young children with their reading and spelling skills . . . and to attach "fun" with reading and spelling! Scrabble Alphabet Scoop is a game the whole family can enjoy together and makes a great gift for Christmas! I'm very happy to say I have one Scrabble Alphabet Scoop to give away (USA only)!  If you are over the age of 18 and would like to be in the drawing (USA only) which will be on November 14, 2014, please comment below to let me know another of your favorite games - while it isn't a board game, I love playing a "game" with my grandsons where we make up stories . . . of course since they are boys, there are always monsters, aliens or robots in their stories!

In addition, you will receive additional entries if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win Scrabble Alphabet Scoop and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away!
