just as grandma's cookie jar should always be full of good things, this blog will be full of good ideas, information, activities and reviews of things to help grandma . . . and grandpa, mom and dad too . . . pass on a heritage of faith to the children in their lives!
crafting with grandma - Crocheted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Yesterday I shared a crochet pattern I found on Pinterest for a cute doll. For those of you - such as myself - who do not have granddaughters, while it is a cute pattern, it really is not one I'm going to make any time soon. However; I also found a pattern on Pinterest for crocheted Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and these are something my grandsons would definitely enjoy! I found two patterns - both are available for free on-line. They look very similar with just a few differences, but basically pretty easy to make. You'll find one on Ravelry at this link and the other at this link.
Last year I crocheted Minions - yellow and purple - for my grandsons and the year before I crocheted Perry the Platypus for them; looks like this year I will be crocheting turtles! Do you think your grandsons will like these turtles?
