crafting with grandma - Homemade Maracas!

The other day when the boys were at the house we made maracas! It is so easy, and
especially this time of the year, a fun craft to make. All you need are plastic eggs, unpopped popcorn, plastic spoons and colored duct tape.

Put the popcorn in the plastic egg. Tape a spoon to each side of the egg - let the bowl of the spoon "cradle the egg" and then add the tape. This is all there is to it!

Josiah and Caleb each made maracas, and then they made two for Shane . . . he was so happy to have his own maracas!

So, if you are wondering what to do with the plastic eggs you have from Easter, consider making maracas! Enjoy!
