Grammar, Dandelions & Puppies . . . My Heart is Happy!

I am blessed with the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my grandsons, so I thought today would be a great time to share with you some of the things they have been saying which made my heart happy!

Josiah - six years old - was watching a movie (Turbo) when one of the characters said; "It doesn't get no better than this!" Josiah said; "It should be, it doesn't get any better than this!" Yes, he is six years old and he correctly "edited" what was said! I would not have even "caught" this grammar error when I was six!

Caleb - three years old - was playing outside and decided to pick some Dandelions. He brought one to me and said; "I'm going to water this so it will live!" Josiah (in typical older brother "mode") said, "It is already dead because you picked it." Caleb looked so sad, so I said, "Since it is a weed, it would die soon if it was not picked anyway. Dandelions just do not live very long." Caleb smiled and said, "Then, I am going to pick them and water them so they will live!" He ran around the yard "saving" Dandelions which he brought in the house and put in a cup of water!

Shane - one year old - loves his dog, Gimli and it shows how much time he spends with him because lately he likes to crawl on on fours and bark! He makes a very, very cute and sweet puppy!

Like I said, these three boys make my heart happy and I'm sure you can see why! What do your grandchildren/children do to make your heart happy?
