crafting with grandma - Crocheted Puzzle Afghan

Kara_s_blanket_small2If you are looking for a fun idea which you could use with your older granddaughters over the summer, take a look at this fun, free pattern for a crocheted, puzzle afghan which I found on Pinterest this morning! This pattern would be a great one to use to teach your granddaughter to crochet and use up bits of left-over yarn!

I love the puzzle pattern and think this would make a really unique afghan - could also be a fun baby blanket! You'll find the link here - follow it and you will be able to download for free the pattern from Ravelry.

It could also be an excellent service project for you and your granddaughter to work on together - make it for a shut-in, to send to a missionary or as a baby blanket and give it to a ministry which serves young mothers in need.

Enjoy!
