Free Summer Learning & Fun from LeapFrog!

I am very happy to let you know about a free resource from LeapFrog! They are hosting the first annual “Summer Camp”, where parents can sign up for 8 weeks of free printables, activities, articles, videos, and more, which help children stay engaged and learning over the summer. Each week presents a different theme, with materials covering skills in math, reading, science, creativity, and more! See the link above for all the details.

For some background, research shows children experience learning losses when they don’t engage in educational activities over the summer. As much as two months of learning can be lost during those long summer months (particularly in the math and science subject areas), which is why it’s extremely important to keep children’s brains active and challenged year round.

LeapFrog knows how to engage children in learning - and do so in a fun way! I'm very impressed they are making this "Summer Camp" available for free and know my grandsons will enjoy participating! They will especially enjoy the map activities - they love to draw their own maps! Consider signing up your grandchildren/children and see what they can learn over the summer - and do it while having fun!
