Science, the Bible & Fun - It is Almost Ready!

When it comes to spending time with your grandchildren, what do you like to do? Do you like to play games? Do you like to make crafts?Do you like to cook together? Do you like to read adventures? Do you like to do science projects? Do you like to go on nature walks? What do you like to do?

When it comes to passing on a heritage of faith, do you find it easy to do, or do you struggle to know what to say and how to engage your grandchildren?

Well, I'm happy to say I'm almost finished with the first year of Science, the Bible & Fun (with Poppa & Grandma) - a curriculum for passing on a heritage of faith to our grandchildren (although parents could definitely use it as well!). Each week's lesson includes a science project, craft or cooking project or nature walk, game time and most importantly, the first year walks children and grandparents/parents through the Book of Psalms, learning to pray Psalms back to God! Plus, each month families get to learn about a different Bible person - like Noah, Jehoshaphat, Josiah, Jesus' birth, Caleb, John, Daniel, Adam/Eve/Cain/Able/Seth, Abraham, Othniel/Ehud/Deborah/Gideon/Samson (some of the Judges), Jonah and Esther and how they learned to know and walk with God.

With Science, the Bible & Fun families will learn about God, His Word, how to spend time talking with God and having fun together! They will have important conversations and grandparents/parents will most importantly, be able to pass on a heritage of faith! What could be more important?

So, stay tuned! As soon as I complete the first year, I'm going to have a drawing for Science, the Bible & Fun - who knows! Maybe you will win!
