"You're a 'Rascal', Grandma!"

Yesterday my grandsons were at my house and we were laughing and playing when I "raspberried" Caleb's foot. He laughed and "raspberried" my arm. I told him he was a "rascal" and he said; "You are a 'rascal', too, grandma, because you 'raspberried' my foot!"

He thought it was extremely funny for his grandma to be a "rascal", like him! I thought it was funny to be considered a "rascal", like him, too!

Of course, this was all followed by laughing and hugging!

I love when my grandsons come over - we laugh, we play, we snuggle and apparently, we act like "rascals" because we "raspberry" each other! As my grandsons grow up, I hope they remember these fun and silly times together - I know I will remember them for the things they are - gifts from the hand of God!

So, today, as I begin my day, my heart is happy and I have a smile on my face as I remember being a "rascal"!

  1. It's the little things they will remember, and us too! Such a cute story.
