It's Admit You Are Happy Day!

Today is, "Admit You Are Happy Day!" Sounds like a great day to celebrate, so I'll start by admitting I'm happy and share several reasons why . . . 

• Yesterday my husband and I celebrated 34 years of marriage!
• Today my three grandsons are at my house! (Lots of snuggles and hugs have already happened!)
• Tonight my family is having supper at my house together - I love supper with my family!
• God is doing some pretty amazing things . . . opening doors for exciting opportunities to serve in an entirely new area of ministry!
• My book, , was recently published!

I could go on, but these are certainly enough reasons for me to be happy! Now, keep in mind, happiness depends on circumstances and our frame of mind and there are times when all of us do not feel happy. At this moment, I have much to be happy about!

Joy, on the other hand, does not depend on circumstances. It is a gift from God and even if we are sad, we can still experience joy because we know God loves us and will never leave us! 

Make time to talk with your grandchildren - share with them some of the reason you are happy on this day to, "Admit You are Happy!" and then why you can have joy no matter what!
