While we are just beginning to enjoy Fall as the trees are starting to change color here in West Michigan, Christmas is really just around the corner . . . three months and a day! As I browsed Pinterest this morning I found an idea for a gift you could help your grandchildren make for their parents . . . a gift they will have fun making and their parents will love receiving!Follow this link for details as to supplies and how to make this wonderful handprint/fingerprint tree . . . I think one for each child would make a great display on a hall wall or in different rooms around a home! And would be a wonderful reminder of a time when the sweet children you love were young!
I LOVE this craft project . . . while you work on it be sure to talk with your grandchildren about how God created our world with four seasons and each season brings different things - Spring, new life as everything begins to grow - Summer, when everything continues to grow and get stronger - Fall, the time to harvest and Winter, the time to rest. Talk about your favorite Season and spend time thanking God for the world He created!
