So, lately Caleb has been calling me, "My grandma!!!" He says this with much love and enthusiasm . . . and of course, hugs and kisses! It makes my heart happy to hear the love, delight and "ownership" which is expressed and reflected back with those two words!
I was talking with Josiah today about love - he knows I love him and thinks it is amazing to know God loves him even more! He says that must be a "LOT" of love, because he knows I love him a lot!
I want my boys to know I love them - forever and for always - but more importantly, I want them to know God loves them even more!
I also started something new with the boys - I'm making a point to give them a blessing each time they are here. The blessing I'm giving them is . . .
"May God bless you and keep you, make His face to shine upon you and give you peace. And may the joy of the Lord be your strength!"I've read a lot lately about the power of giving grandchildren a blessing, so, this is the blessing I'm giving them.
Do you give your grandchildren a blessing? If so, what is the blessing you give them?
