grandma's cookbook -Cinnamon Sugar, Soft, Pumpkin Pretzels

The leaves on my trees are beginning to turn the most beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow! Fall is definitely on it's way!

So, I thought today would be a great day to share a favorite recipe from Pinterest - Cinnamon-Sugar Soft Pumpkin Pretzels. Please let me say here, when I first saw the recipe, the thought of making soft pretzels was at least somewhat intimidating. But, the author of this recipe said this was really simple and only took 30 minutes! Thirty minutes!!!! I tried it and found it was simple! The biggest bonus is my family loved the finished pretzels - and the boys had such fun making them!

While I have baking plans for this weekend with the boys, it is on my agenda for next week . . . so, if it sounds like a fun way to enjoy Fall with your family, you'll find the recipe at this link.

They would make a wonderful treat for a shut-in you know, an elderly neighbor, a teacher and since October is Pastor Appreciation Month, these Pumpkin Pretzels could be a tasty way to say, "Thank you" to the pastors at your church! Enjoy!
