Special Christmas Giveaway - American Girl - Beforever Maryellen Doll & Paperback Book - I'm Giving One Away!

Good morning! It is October 1, 2015 and today I begin announcing my 2015 Christmas Giveaways for my Month of Christmas Giveaways (November)! I have some wonderful items lined up to give away once again this year and will be announcing throughout October what these special giveaways are, so you can enter the drawings for the prizes you might like to win!

It is easy to enter the drawings - just comment on the posts about the prizes which you would like to win and you will be entered in the drawing! You will be able to receive additional entries by sharing on facebook, tweeting, sharing on Google + and by liking grandma's cookie jar on facebook . . . each post will have all the information about how to enter. Please keep in mind, you will receive just one entry for each way you enter for each post - this means, for example, if you tweet each day about a particular giveaway, while I appreciate it, you will only receive one entry for the first tweet.

So, today I'm going to share about a giveaway I know many of you are happy to see . . . the new American Girl - Beforever Maryellen Doll & Paperback Book! Yes, American Girl sent me their new doll once again and I'm delighted for the opportunity to give her to one of you!

Maryellen is a girl from the 1950s and her story (which is told in the book which comes with the doll) shares how she is from a large family which lives in Florida. Maryellen tries to do things to brighten the day of others, but they "backfire" and she has to learn to think before she acts. She ends up making a choice which brings joy to her entire family!

The Maryellen doll is dressed in a cute '50's style dress and is very cute with her freckles and strawberry blond pony-tail! As we have come to expect from American Girl, Maryellen is made with attention to design, details and is sure to be a doll any girl who receives her is sure to love!

Now, for the details about how to enter the drawing for Maryellen - if you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and would like to be included in this giveaway, which will be on November 30, 2015, please comment below to tell me how you wore your hair when you were a child - I had a short, not quite to my shoulders haircut!

In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share on facebook, and/or google +, and or twitter as you will be able to receive one entry for each of these which you use to share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win American Girl - Beforever Maryellen Doll & Paperback Book and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!

  11. I wore my hair in many different ways. It was short and straight, and it was short and curly at one point, but it was mostly long and wavy. I had free-flowing hair, lol.
