Special Christmas Giveaway on November 26, 2015 - Jungle Crew Lab Set

Saturday I was busy with my grandsons and Sunday I was busy with church, some remodeling in my kitchen and visiting with my sister who lives in Wisconsin, so I didn't post as I would have. This means today I'm letting you know about another special giveaway . . . this time it is a fun science kit from GeoSafari Jr!

Jungle Crew Lab Set
Made by - GeoSafari Jr
Ages - 3+

Favorite Features -
  • Fun, animal theme, colorful science equipment
  • Sized for little hands
  • Durable so even young children can enjoy simple science projects
  • Encourages learning, curiosity and fun!
Educational Insights/GeoSafari says; "Roar into scientific exploration with this sturdy, 6-piece, animal-themed science set! Introduce preschoolers to the wild side of science, with fun tools and activity cards featuring simple experiment ideas! Includes large lion and small cub test tubes with pour-spout mouths; rhino flask; elephant funnel; hippo tongs; and monkey dropper. Includes 10 hands-on activity cards using ingredients found in your kitchen and backyard! Perfect for STEM learning!"

I think this is a fun set which will engage even young children in discovering and learning as they make fun science projects with their grandparents/parents! I'd like to see more than ten projects, or at least information as to where grandparents/parents could find more projects on-line to try with their grandchildren/children, but children are sure to have fun using this set to make bubbles, slime and more! (Check Steve Spangler's site for a lot of additional science projects you could try at home.) I also love how the projects it does include use simple ingredients - you likely have most at home already, or could easily find them at your local grocery store.

I'm very happy to say the Jungle Crew Lab Set is part of my 2015 Special Christmas giveaways! If you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and would like to be included in this giveaway for the Jungle Crew Lab Set, which will be on November 26, 2015, please comment below to tell me about a science project you have tried with your grandchildren/children . . . we used a science project (vinegar, food coloring and baking soda) to color our Easter eggs this year . . . great fun!!!

In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share on facebook, and/or google +, and or twitter as you will be able to receive one entry for each of these which you use to share). 1. My younger grandchildren all live a great distance away. However, I do remember the science projects and "experiments" my own children did. The mold growing on various objects! The effect of cola drinks on various things (you won't believe what it does to a vienna sausage).
