just for fun - It Is Doodle Day!

Are you a "doodler"? Do you tend to draw absentmindedly or when you are bored? Do you
like to add little drawings or sketches to your name, or when you write a note to someone? Most of us likely do this from time to time and today is a time to do so as it is, "Doodle Day"!

Have some fun with this by getting your grandchildren together and have a "Doodle Party"! All you need is paper, crayons, pens, pencils . . . and some imagination! Combine them all and make a book, then see if you can make up a story to go with the things you all drew! Sounds like fun to me, but then I do love to make up stories with my grandsons!

Lately I've been using, "doodles" to help my grandsons think about their prayer requests. I have them draw - or "doodle" their requests and then I use their drawing/doodle to remind me of their prayer requests. When they can tell me how God has answered our prayers, I'll have them draw/doodle to show this answer and keep the pages . . . maybe I'll make them into a book which shows how God hears, listens to, and answers our prayers!

When you, "doodle", what do you tend to draw? I lean towards drawing happy faces and hearts! Enjoy!
