Special Birthday Month Giveaway - May 10, 2016 - Little One, God Made You Special

I have long been a fan of books for children . . . what could be better than a story which is well-told with colorful pictures??? So, when Zonderkidz invited me to review one of their new books for children, I was very happy to say, "Yes!". Today I'm sharing the book Little One, God Made You Special . . . just the title alone is enough to make me like this book . . . and announce a giveaway, too!

Little One, God Made You Special
Author - Amy Warren Hhilliker
Illustrator - Polona Lovsin
Publisher - Zonderkidz
Ages - 3+

Favorite Features -
  • I love how Little One, God Made You Special is available in a sturdy board-book format . . . great book for little ones to enjoy!
  • Illustrations are warm, cute, full of fun and love . . . and I LOVE all the different animals with their babies! My two-year old grandson loves this, too!
  • Simple message about how God created each child perfect from the start!
Zonderkidz says; "Little One, God Made You Special, written by Amy Warren Hilliker and inspired by the New York Times #1bestseller, The Purpose-Driven Life, is a cute and cuddly board book which lets children know God made each one of us very special."

I am happy to see a simple story for little ones which combines wonderful illustrations of animals with a message even the youngest will enjoy, understand and remember. Great book to give grandparents a starting place to build upon about how their grandchildren are special and created by God! Fun text . . . "No one has your silly laugh when you splash in bubble baths. No one has your perfect chin that sits below your perfect grin." (Of course the splashing portion is illustrated with a momma duck splashing with a duckling and bunnies and mice parents/children are illustrated with the perfect chin and grin.) Cute book, cute story . . . great for snuggling at bedtime - or any time!

And, I'm very happy to say, Zonderkidz sent me one copy of Little One, God Made You Special to review and give away! (USA only) So, If you are over the age of 18, live in the USA, and would like to be in the drawing for one Little One, God Made You Special, which will be on May 10, 2016, please comment below to tell me an animal which you think would be cute to include in an illustrated book for children . . . for me it has to be a basset hound with it's long ears, sad face and saggy, baggy skin!
