Just for Fun . . . Silly Laws - Enjoy!

Yesterday when my grandsons were at my house we got to talking about "silly" laws - he thought it was really funny any state had a law saying it was illegeal to tie an alligator to a fire hydrant!

So, today, to put a smile on my grandsons' faces . . . and your faces, too, I thought it would be fun to share a few silly laws with you! Did you know . . .
  • In Alabama it is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle and it is illegal to wear a fake mustache which causes laughter in church.
  • In California it is a misdemeanor to shoot at any kind of animal from a moving vehicle, unless the target is a whale and women may not drive in a house coat.
  • In Florida if an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle and it is illegal to sing in a public place while attired in a swimsuit.
  • In Louisiana it is illegal to rob a bank and then shoot at the bank teller with a water pistol and it is illegeal to tie alligators to fire hydrants.
  • In Ohio it is illegal to fish for whales on Sunday and it is illegal to get a fish drunk.
Theses are just a few of the silly laws . . . don't you wonder why anyone ever thought there was a need for a law about hunting whales on Sundays in Ohio??? At any rate, I'm sure my grandsons will be laughing . . . try sharing these with your grandchildren!
