American Girl describes the WellieWishers as . . . "Meet the WellieWishers, a sweet and silly group of girls who each have the same big, bright wish: to be a good friend. Explore their world as they step into colorful garden boots and get ready for stomping in mud puddles, putting on shows, and helping friendships grow."
American Girl sent me -
Favorite Features -
- Five dolls are available - all are adorable and reflect different races
- Smaller than an American Girl Doll (14.5 inches tall) and all vinyl, but each doll comes in a very cute dress and wearing "wellie" boots . . . very fun design!
- Books are available to provide stories which girls are sure to enjoy!
- Designed especially for a younger girl - recommended age is 5+ (although I'm sure older girls will fall in love with the WellieWishers, too!)
- More affordably priced ($60 each)
- I love the focus on friendships and fun!
These dolls are absolutely adorable - a wonderful addition to the American Girl line of dolls - I am certain if I had a granddaughter, she would fall in love with the WellieWishers!
As I mentioned, American Girl sent me two dolls to review and give away . . . so I'm very happy to "introduce" you to these dolls!
They describe Camille in the following way . . .
"Camille adores the ocean-and she's mellow as a mermaid. She's the one her friends turn to when they need someone to listen. This 14.5" doll is sized just right for younger girls. She has blue eyes, a freckle on one cheek, and silky blond hair which can be brushed and styled. Includes: a deep-blue tee with glittery mesh ruffle, a tie-dye print skirt with a handkerchief hem, a glittery mesh layer on top, and a bow at the waistband, a coral starfish clip for her hair, light-pink underwear and blue wellie boots with red fins and smiley fish faces."And, Kendall in the following way . . .
"Kendall is creative-she's always drawing and inventing. Leave it to her to patch friendly mix-ups with smiles, patience, and a handmade card. This 14.5" doll is sized just right for younger girls. She has deep-brown eyes and curly black hair in pigtails. Includes: an orange-and-white striped tee with a bold pink floral print bow, a light-blue skirt with white polka dots, a floral border, and blue tulle peeking out at the hem, a pink floral-print bow headband to show off her curls, light-pink underwear and bright-pink floral wellie boots"Both of these dolls are sure to delight any young girl who receives them - at Christmas . . . or any time, but these two dolls are definitely part of my 2016 Christmas Giveaways! Yes, I'm giving both of them away on November 30, 2016 - American Girl - Wellie Wishers Kendall Doll and November 28, 2016 - American Girl - Wellie Wishers Camille Doll!

So, if you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and would like to win one, please comment below to let me know which doll you would like to win and about a favorite doll you had when you were a child . . . I had a kissy baby (when you pulled here arms together, she "kissed") and loved her! If you tell me who you would give the doll to, if you win, you'll receive a bonus entry as well!
In addition, you will receive additional entries if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win American Girl - Wellie Wishers Camille Doll and/or the American Girl - Wellie Wishers Kendall Doll and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away!
These are adorable! My daughter would love the Camille doll, but Kendall is also precious. When I was a child, Barbies were my favorite. I wanted a Barbie dreamhouse so badly but we could never afford it.

I would give the doll to my daughter. Her birthday is tomorrow, so it would be either a belated birthday gift or an early Christmas gift. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI could choose and when I asked my niece which doll she would like she said she would love any doll. I like how humble she is and then she said a surprise is more fun than knowing what ahe would get. My preciouse niece is going through leukemia and now looks at life a different way, which I understand since I'm going through breast cancer. I understand what she is going through. ReplyDeleteBoth of those dolls are adorable, but my daughter would prefer -- Camille
ReplyDeleteI love that Kendall has smiles and patience. She seems like a real peacemaker. I didnt have a favorite doll growing up because I was such a tomboy. I did watch my sister play with her Little Kiddles and Chatty Cathy doll.

ReplyDeleteThis was fun reading about everyone's favorite dolly growing up! It is easy to tell everyone's age group based on the dolly; hehe. It's so much fun strolling down memory lane. I passed all my old dollies on to my daughter. When I gave her my Strawberry Shortcake dolls a few years ago, many still had their scents! I loved those dolls. I don't care for the newer strawberry shortcakes, I feel they are not nearly as sweet and charming as the originals. I love that American Girl dolls are still all so charming and sweet. The Welliewishers are so cute and my daughter and I are looking forward to craft for them. Have a God Blessed Thanksgiving! Fond Regards!
ReplyDeleteSubscriber for Google+ I had a doll named lily she was a renamed Samantha doll
ReplyDeleteMy 7 yr old cuz would love Kendall but Camille would be fine for her to she really likes this company
I'd love to win either doll for my daughter. She has seen the Wellie Wisher Dolls and LOVED all of them. If she got to choose Kendall would be her first choice, but I know she would love either one. They both look so cute and have sweet faces. I remember having a cabbage patch kid. The reason I loved her so much is that my Grandmother gave her to me and it made it so special since I didn't live near my grandmother when I was young.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'd give the doll to my daughter if I won.
