Be Intentional & Join Us at the Legacy Grandparenting Summit!

I have been a grandma now for eight years - years filled with an amazing and wonderful joy! Yes, as you can clearly see from my posts on this blog, I love being Josiah's, Caleb's and Shane's grandma! I take being a grandma seriously. Yes, I have lots of fun with my three sweet rascal grandsons, but I know there is far more to being a grandma than just the hugs, snuggles and fun. I have a big responsibility as a grandma to do the following . . .
  • Point my grandsons to Jesus. If they do not grow up to love, know and follow Jesus, nothing else I do with them will matter.
  • Help them have a true view of who they are.
  • Be focused and intentional about praying for them - throughout their lives.
Yes, I am all in favor of having LOTS of fun with my grandsons. I am ABSOLUTELY in favor of the snuggles and hugs which go with being grandma. But, pointing my grandsons to Jesus, helping them have a true view of who they are and being a committed prayer warrior for them are the most important things I can, and will, do. Take a moment to watch the video at this link from the Legacy Grandparenting Conference this past May, in which I talk (yes an actual video of me talking) about how important it is for grandparents to be intentional in what we say to help our grandchildren have a true view of who they are.

If you have not already made plans to join us at the Legacy Grandparenting Summit this November, please give serious consideration to doing so. Not only will you be able to hear from Chuck Swindoll, Josh McDowell, Gary Chapman, John Trent, Tim Kimmel, Wayne Rice, Larry Fowler, Michelle Anthony, Jay Kessler and so many more, but you will learn how to be intentional about passing on a legacy of faith. Definitely well worth your time! (And, if you use my code - Lynda16 - you will save $40 on your registration!)

Please join us - you, and your grandchildren - will be oh, so glad you did!
