2016 Christmas Review & Giveaway - November 1, 2016 - Ready, Set, Find Christmas!

It seems appropriate to kick off my Month of Christmas Giveaways with a giveaway on November 1, 2016 of a book about Christmas! I'm very happy to share one such book with you today which was sent to me to review by Zonderkidz.

Ready, Set, Find Christmas
Publisher - Zonderkidz
Ages - 4-8

Favorite Features -
  • Scripture references provided for each page as the account of the birth of Jesus is shared.
  • Bright colors capture the attention of children.
  • Interactive book which has children looking on each page for specific things to find from the Christmas account.
  • Sturdy board book design
Zonderkidz says; "Get ready to follow Mary and Joseph on their way to Bethlehem. They are in a hurry! Mary is expecting the baby Jesus and they need your help to find many things along the way. This holiday board book is perfect for young children who will love finding the 48 objects hidden on the pages while reading the classic story of Christmas, accurately retold and with scripture references. On your mark, Ready-Set-Find!"

My then two year old grandson was very happy when Ready, Set, Find Christmas arrived for review. We sat right down and began reading and finding the hidden pictures. He was very accomplished at finding them and felt quite happy at being able to do so! I like how it gave us the opportunity to review with him what Christmas is all about - he loved finding the pictures!

If you have young grandchildren, Ready, Set, Find Christmas will be a fun book to share with them to review the Christmas account! Zonderkidz not only sent one for me to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only). So, if you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and would like to win Ready, Set, Find Christmas, please comment below to let me know if you have a favorite book you read with your family at Christmas - we may have a new favorite book with Ready, Set, Find Christmas!

In addition, you will receive additional entries if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. For each of these which you have done you will receive one entry. In addition, if you "share" this post, you'll receive an additional entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win Ready, Set, Find Christmas and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away!

  1. Ready, Set, Find Christmas sounds like it will become a great inspirational holiday read. One of our family favorites is The Littlest Angel.

  3. I'd love to share this with my granddaughter. The Bible story of Christmas comes to mind first, but we've also enjoyed The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and A Christmas Carol.
