Christmas Review & Giveaway November 23, 2016 - NIV Journal Bible for Girls

The other day I shared my review of the new Beautiful Word Bible and said; "I absolutely believe Bibles make amazing gifts - any time of the year, but especially for Christmas." After seeing the new NIV Journal Bible for Girls from Zonderkidz, I believe this even more!

NIV Journal Bible for Girls
Publisher - Zonderkidz/Zondervan

Favorite Features -
  • NIV for ease of understanding
  • Available in four fun colors/designs
  • Elastic closing - great look
  • Wide margins with lines for note-taking and journaling
  • Thicker paper - great for journaling/note-taking
Zonderkidz says; "The NIV Journal Bible for Girls is the perfect way to apply Scripture to your everyday life. Designed with the thoughtful writer in mind, a whimsical cover and journaling lines inspire reflection in God’s Word. This Bible contains the full text of the bestselling New International Version (NIV) translation."

I take notes in my Bible from sermons, so when I'm studying, the notes are there for me to see. Sometimes there is not much room to work with, so a Bible designed for taking notes sounds like a great idea to me! Plus, they came up with such a cute design - and four color schemes - making this a Bible most any girl - or even teen, college young lady or mom would enjoy.

Zonderkidz not only sent me one copy of NIV Journal Bible for Girls to review, but they are making another available for me to give away on November 23, 2016 (USA only)! If you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and want to enter the giveaway for the NIV Journal Bible for Girlsplease comment below to let me know if you take notes in your Bible - I do.

  1. This sounds fabulous! When my husband and I joined our church a few years ago, we learned that it was ok to write in the Bible. Now, we write in it all the time. Our kids can look at our bibles many years from now, to see what verses were important to us. What a great gift.

  2. I usually write out scriptures in a journal and then write my thoughts concerning them. Writing right on the page with the scripture would be fun to try.

  3. What a wonderful bible. I think the space for journaling and note taking helps to emphasis the biblical message being taught so that the girls can apply it to their lives.
