Zonderkidz says; "Written for children ages four to eight, Christmas Love Letters from God cleverly combines both prose and poetry as the story of Jesus’ birth unfolds. The book includes seven accounts, beginning with Isaiah’s prophecy and ending with the visit of the wise men. Following each account, the child will find his or her own letter from God, folded into a small envelope attached to the page. Each letter begins with a space in which to write the child’s name, so each one can be specially addressed to the child. Written as if God is speaking, each personalized message gives the young reader a sense of wonder as they discover anew the Christmas holiday and the birth of Jesus. A very special Bible verse, entitled God’s Perfect Promise, also accompanies each story and letter as God’s personal words of love, promise, and hope."
Once again, this new "Love Letters from God" book is sure to delight and provide wonderful opportunities for conversations with our grandchildren/children about what Christmas is really all about! As I mentioned above, I'm happy to say, not only did Zonderkidz send me one copy of Christmas Love Letters from God for me to review, but they are making another available for me to give away on November 20, 2016 (USA only)! If you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and want to enter the giveaway for Christmas Love Letters from God, please comment below to let me know your favorite part of the Christmas account - I love all of it, of course, but especially how the angels announced Jesus' birth to regular people - the shepherds!

I like to remind the children I teach about how quickly the shepherds shared "the Good News". We should do likewise. I follow on Facebook and email.
