Christmas Review & Giveaway on November 28, 2016 - American Girl WellieWisher Camille Doll

Each year, since I began writing grandma's cookie jar five years ago, each October I've reviewed items which make great gifts at Christmas and then throughout the month of November I gave away most of the things I reviewed. Each of those years American Girl sent me their new doll to review and give away. This year they sent me two of their new WellieWisher dolls and on November 28, 2016 I'm giving away their Wellie Wishers Camille Doll . . . and once again, a little girl is going to be very happy to receive it!

Made by American Girl
Ages 5+

Favorite Features -
  • Five dolls are available - all are adorable and reflect different races
  • Smaller than an American Girl Doll (14.5 inches tall) and all vinyl, but each doll comes in a very cute dress and wearing "wellie" boots . . . very fun design!
  • Books are available to provide stories which girls are sure to enjoy!
  • Designed especially for a younger girl - recommended age is 5+ (although I'm sure older girls will fall in love with the WellieWishers, too!)
  • More affordably priced ($60 each)
  • I love the focus on friendships and fun!
American Girl says; "Meet the WellieWishers, a sweet and silly group of girls who each have the same big, bright wish: to be a good friend. Explore their world as they step into colorful garden boots and get ready for stomping in mud puddles, putting on shows, and helping friendships grow. Camille adores the ocean—and she’s mellow as a mermaid. She’s the one her friends turn to when they need someone to listen. This 14.5" (36.8 cm) doll is sized just right for younger girls. She has blue eyes, a freckle on one cheek, and silky blond hair which can be brushed and styled. Plastic/vinyl. Includes: A deep-blue tee with glittery mesh ruffles A tie-dye print skirt with a handkerchief hem, a glittery mesh layer on top, and a bow at the waistband A coral starfish clip for her hair Light-pink underwear Blue wellie boots with red fins and smiley fish faces"

These dolls are absolutely adorable - a wonderful addition to the American Girl line of dolls - I am certain if I had a granddaughter, she would fall in love with the WellieWishers! I'm very happy to be able to give American Girl - Wellie Wishers Camille Doll away on November 28, 2016 (USA only)! So, if you live in the USA, are over the age of 18 and would like to win American Girl - Wellie Wishers Camille Doll, please comment below to let me know if you have ever made a doll - I've made lots of dolls out of lots of different things, but my favorite doll I ever made was an upside-down doll for my daughter! If you tell me who you would give the doll to if you win, you'll receive a bonus entry as well!

In addition, you will receive additional entries if you have followed on Google+, Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email. 7. Earlier this year, I was co-leader at church for the girls' group ages 8-11. We'd meet twice a month and do fun and spiritual activities. In July, we made dolls from fabric strips in honor of Pioneer Day. They were messy but cute! (Lots of strings on the carpet, haha.)

As for Camille, she'd go to my daughter, of course. :-)
