grandma's bookshelf - Crocodaddy . . . I'm Giving One Away!

I can always tell if one of the books I receive for review is a big “hit” with my grandsons, because when one is, it usually makes it into their backpacks to go to their house with them! Of course, I’m always happy to send books home with the boys for them to enjoy and one book I recently received for review did not stay at my house for long – I’m happy to let you know about this book today . . . and announce a giveaway for it as well!

Favorite Features –

     1.  I love the colorful illustrations . . . and the fun details to watch for, such as the “croc” wearing the same swim shorts as the daddy!

     2.  I enjoyed the story about a boy playing with his daddy.

     3.  Encourages imagination, fun and family time together!

While I did have to tell my youngest grandson Crocodaddy was not really a scary story about a boy in the water with a real crocodile (and talk about how we would not really get in the water with real crocodiles or alligators – not that this would be a problem in Michigan!), once he was not scared by the idea of the story, he really did enjoy it a lot. This book went straight home! I enjoy stories which encourage family fun and playing together and this story does both!
