You will find the recipe at this link – I change it a little
in the following ways . . .
1. I use three cups of flour and one cup of whole wheat flour.
2. I do not do the part with the ice cube – my family loves a
nice, soft crust on their French baguettes . . . I put a little butter on the
top of the loaves when they come out of the oven.
This is all there is to it, but you can be certain your family
will love it! (And, it is a simple and fun recipe to make with your
grandchildren! Plus, since it makes two lovely baguettes, you could eat one and
have your grandchildren take the other to a neighbor.)
Enjoy!
My husband is the bread maker in the family. I will share this recipe with him. Thank you for sharing. God Bless!
