I'm looking forward to Friday, because when my husband gets out of work, he will pick up our sweet grandsons and bring them home where they spend the night and then their parents will join us for lunch on Saturday. So . . . typically Fridays are our weekly sleep-over night!
Since Friday is Dr. Seuss' birthday and the boys will be here, I thought I'd find something fun to do with them to "celebrate". So, I browsed on Pinterest and found an idea I absolutely LOVE . . . a "There’s a Wocket in My Pocket- A Rhyming Scavenger Hunt"!!!!
The boys like the book, There's a Wocket in My Pocket" and, as you all know, they enjoy monsters and crazy creatures. Plus they enjoy playing hide-and-seek . . . did I say, "enjoy"??? I should have said they LOVE playing hide-and-seek - especially three-year-old Shane!!! So, the idea of having them draw their own silly creatures which we will hide around the house for them to go find . . . well, there couldn't be a better game for them to play! I think we will take pictures of where they put them, and then write our own story with their drawings/photos - and name them all, too!
Just follow this link for all the details and have a "There’s a Wocket in My Pocket- A Rhyming Scavenger Hunt" at your house, too! Enjoy!
