I Heart Origami and I'm Giving One Away on May 28, 2017

Lately, around this grandma's house, there has been a definite interest in origami. So, I asked Sterling Children's Books if their book <3 Origami might be available for review - it was and happily it was also available for giveaway, so today I'm happy to share this book with you!

<3 Origami
By - Michael O'Mara Books
Photos & diagrams by - David Woodroffe
Publisher - Sterling Children's Books
Ages - 8+

Favorite Features -
  • Includes step-by-step illustrated directions for ten origami creations - the jumping frog was a hit with my grandsons!
  • Also includes 200 beautiful sheets of origami paper - my grandsons love the origami paper!
  • Everything about this book is quality!
Sterling Children's Books says; "Kids love getting creative . . . and they really HEART origami!  A bird, a bunny, a box, a flower, and even an adorable pig: this book has all kinds of fun origami projects children can make! It comes complete with 200 pieces of colorful, patterned paper to fold and easy-to-follow instructions. Create a fish, a turtle, a jumping frog, a lovely rose, and more."

While some of the projects takes a bit of time to figure out, if you are patient, you will and the end results are fun origami projects! My grandsons - all three of them - are enjoying this book/kit . . . and, while it clearly is a book, it is more than just a book. <3 Origami would be a fun resource to pull out on a rainy summer day, or as a special treat for Children's Day (the second Sunday in June) as no matter the age your grandchildren are going to love taking a colorful sheet of paper and turning it into a frog, or bird, or pig, or ???

Not only did Sterling Children's Books send me one copy of <3 Origami for me to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)! If you are over the age of 18 and would like to enter this drawing - which will be on May 282017, please comment below to tell me what you would like to make with origami - one of my favorite projects is a heart!

In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win
<3 Origami and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!
