This past weekend, my son, daughter-in-law and
grandsons went to the Shrine Circus to review it for me and today I’m very
happy to share with you what they thought of their experience. My grandsons are eight, five and three and
when they heard they were going to the circus, the three year old said; “The
Circus! I LOVE the circus!!” These three boys got their coats and shoes on and
were ready to head out my door in record time (the boys were at my house,
because they had a sleepover the night before)!
My two oldest grandsons had been to the circus a few
years ago, but it was a new experience for the youngest . . . from their
reports they were not disappointed! The boys LOVED seeing the tigers (There were two white tigers and two orange tigers - it was
so exciting when a man went in the cage with the tigers, but don't worry
grandma - the tigers did not eat him!) and the elephants, they
were greatly surprised when a man was shot out of a cannon and thought the aerial
acts were exciting! They enjoyed seeing the motorcycle act and thought the
clowns were funny, but their favorite thing was seeing “Spiderman” with his “webs”
– all in all, they truly enjoyed going to the circus.
