Sterling Children's Books says; "Hands-on projects for inventive kids! Gizmos, gadgets, circuits, and LEDs: this how-to book is packed with fun things for young inventors to make. From drawing a robot, and practicing on a breadboard, to building a racing machine, all the projects here have detailed step-by-step instructions and ample illustrations to guide kids as they master core electronics skills. Every object is customizable and perfect for firing up children’s imaginations. The 14 projects range from easy to advanced. Some may require adult supervision, A few make use of a soldering iron."
My grandsons are looking forward to working on these projects with their dad - they especially like the directions for building robots and race cars! I love books like this which encourage learning by providing fun activities which engage children . . . and when it is something a dad could get involved with, well, there is no down-side!
Not only did Sterling Children's Books send me one copy of The Gadget Inventor Handbook to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only). If you are over the age of 18 and would like to enter this drawing - which will be on May 25, 2017, please comment below to tell me what type of project your grandchildren would enjoy building - my grandsons enjoy building robots for sure!

ReplyDeleteMy children would enjoy building anything that moves or makes noise, but definitely a robot would be on the top of their list. They love to create and build. This looks like a wonderful book for the upcoming summer.
