Coding for Parents - We Are Giving One Away!

My oldest grandson loves to code! He knows how to make blogs, web pages, he knows how to make his own logos . . . which he does for his blogs and webpages - and he loves to code games. When I was sent books to help children learn to code this past Spring, he was one happy boy and read them right away!

Recently Sterling Children's Books (the publisher who sent me the other books on coding for children) invited me to review their new book - Coding for Parents: Everything You Need to Know to Confidently Help with Homework. I am happy to let you know about this book today - and an opportunity for you to win one as Sterling is making one available for me to give away!

Sterling Children's Books says; "Facing the daunting prospect of helping your children with their coding homework?Coding for Parents teaches you what you need to know . . . so you can teach your kids! Unlock the mysteries of coding with this easy-to-follow and well-illustrated guide—and help your kids ace their coding homework! Instructional diagrams and compelling illustrations appear throughout to enhance your understanding, and the book covers the most popular software, including Scratch, Python, and Java."

Coding for Parents will help you know how to help the children you love with coding. It is a great tool to have on hand as children are learning to code in elementary school. My grandson thought the book was pretty well written - he took it to learn from for himself! And, he is teaching his mom to code, so the book could come in handy for him to use to teach her coding! Maybe they should have called it - "Coding for Children: Everything You Need to Confidently Teach Your Parents to Code!" He said his dad and poppa would not need the book as they know how to code, but his mom and me . . . well, a useful book for sure!

I'm very happy to say, not only did Sterling Children's Books
send me one copy of Coding for Parents to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only) If you are over the age of 18 and would like to enter this contest to win Coding for Parents, then visit my grandson's blog - Coders-Cove at this link as we are holding the giveaway August 20, 2017 on his blog.
