2017 Christmas Gift Review & Giveaway - November 1, 2017 - Dough Knights and Dragons

I'm happy to begin my 2017 Christmas Gift Reviews & Giveaways with a fun new book from Sterling Children's Books! They sent me Dough Knights and Dragons for review, and my grandsons - and I - all loved it!

Dough Knights and Dragons
Author - Dee Leone
Illustrator - George Ermos
Publisher - Sterling Children's Books
Ages - 5+

Favorite Features -
  • Wonderful illustrations
  • Fun story with a creative solution to a significant challenge
  • Provides a wonderful opportunity to talk with children about what they are able to do to solve their challenges creatively as well!
Sterling Children's Books says; "In a mythical kingdom, a knight and a dragon cook up a delicious plan to save their friendship! In Dough Knights and Dragons, a curious knight and an amiable dragon meet serendipitously, and instantly bond over their shared love of baking. But the friends are filled with sadness when, according to the law, the two must duel one another. Can the unlikely pair find a way to evade the law, save their friendship, and spread good throughout the land? Kids will devour this scrumptiously clever tale!"

I was delighted by the illustrations and this clever story with a solid message - Dough Knights and Dragons would make a wonderful gift for Christmas! My four year old grandson had to have me read it several times in a row - once was just not enough!

I'm very happy to say; not only did Sterling Children's Books send me one copy of Dough Knights and Dragons, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only)! If you are over the age of 18 and would like to enter this drawing for one Dough Knights and Dragons which will be on November 1, 2017, please comment below to tell me something you enjoy baking with the children you love - my grandsons and I made soft pretzels yesterday - it was lots of fun!

In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win one
Dough Knights and Dragons and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!
