Sterling Children's Books says; "'Little Bot, it’s time for bed. Let’s get ready, sleepyhead.' A sweet goodnight story with a unique hero. Even little robots need their rest—and their parents tuck them in just like human mommies and daddies do. It doesn’t matter if young bots slip on their pjs over power packs and enjoy batteries for their pre-sleep snack; just like children, they love bedtime stories, hugs, a cuddly toy, and lullabies. This charming picture book is perfect for winding kids (and robots) down for the night."
My youngest grandsons especially enjoyed this story about Little Bot and his bedtime routine. We did talk about how while little bots like to snack on batteries and oil, real little boys - or big boys - do NOT put batteries or oil in their mouths. But, other than feeling we need to be sure the children we love do not think it was okay to eat batteries/oil, I think Goodnight, Little Bot is a fun and charming story - especially for bedtime.
I'm very happy to say, not only did Sterling Children's Books send me one copy of Goodnight, Little Bot for me to review, but they are making another available for me to give away (USA only). If you are over the age of 18 and would like to enter this drawing for one Goodnight, Little Bot which will be on November 10, 2017, please comment below to share about what bedtime looks like at your house - we tend to read books and snuggle - especially at bedtime.
In addition if you have followed on Google Friend Connect, followed by liking on facebook with the tab in the "Find us on Facebook" box ON THE BLOG or at this link (not just liking the post) and/or have followed grandma's cookie jar by email you will receive one entry for each of these which you have done. Plus, if you "share" this post, you'll receive another entry (please let me know if you share). This will help me be able to draw names from among people who would like to win one Goodnight, Little Bot and it gives you several ways to enter the give-away! Thank you for reading grandma's cookie jar and for sharing it with the people you know!
Bed time at our house is a bunch of kisses and then giggling from my girls when I leave the room.

After a bath, we read a book, cuddle, then say goodnights.

ReplyDeleteWe try to keep it to a routine of teeth brushing, in bed and story but that doesn't always go as planned.
ReplyDeleteSome like to read a little before bed and the younger ones like to run around more to avoid it.
